WHY HIRE A DRAFTER/INTERIOR DESIGNER?

We will save you time and money by working with you to narrow down options that best fit both your needs, timeline, and budget. Moreover, we have a network of trade resources, including finish options (such as cabinetry, plumbing fixtures, etc.) that are not available to the public. 

HOW DOES YOUR FEE STRUCTURE WORK?

We provide a flat fee upfront, so that our clients feel comfortable knowing there won't be any surprises later; this fee will depend on the scope of work  for your project. If you're not ready for a full service project yet, we offer a design-only option (phase one), or if you only need minimal support, you can book a one hour video session with us.

WHAT IS YOUR DESIGN STYLE?

We design based on our clients needs, and what is best for each space, not what we want our portfolio to show. Generally, we tend to design modern and transitional styles, with antique accents to add character. We also highly prioritize sustainability and custom options for a completely unique look that is tailored to each client. 

CAN YOU START MY PROJECT AT ANY TIME?

In order to provide our existing clients with the level of service they deserve, we limit the amount of projects we take on at one time. In any case, we can add you to our waitlist if needed, and we'd be happy to have a discovery call with you to understand your exact timeline. 

HOW LONG WILL MY PROJECT TAKE TO BE COMPLETED?

The timeline varies with each project, and we understand the sense of urgency with any project. An estimated date of completion will be assigned in the agreement, and we create a schedule internally at the onset of your project to ensure we're meeting your desired timeline. We'd be happy to give you an estimated timeframe based on your scope of work in a complimentary discovery call

CAN WE PURCHASE ITEMS ON OUR OWN?

If you've chosen the full service package, all procurement of all of the finishes is included in our service fee, including purchasing for you with our accounts/lines of credit. We ask that you do not purchase anything on your own, as we are responsible for ensuring all moving parts in the project appropriately fit in your space(s) both functionally and aesthetically, and that the project stays on schedule.

DO YOU WORK WITH ADA/AGE IN PLACE PROJECTS?

Absolutely! As designers, it's our job first and foremost to design spaces with the end users in mind. We religiously keep up with the latest building code requirements, and it is critical for us to meet with you at the onset of the project to understand any specific challenges that you'd like addressed in the plans (such as having a curb-less shower, grab bars, etc.).

HOW MUCH SHOULD I BUDGET FOR LABOR AND FINISHES?

It's important to note that finishes are a matter of your taste and style, and vary greatly based on the scope of work, project size, and location. We understand and respect that budget is one of the most important considerations when entering a project, and we can give you an idea based on similar projects, and the current market. 

CAN YOU REFER US TO OTHER TRADES?

Yes, we've built a selective list over the years of trusted and top suppliers, general contractors, engineers, and any other consultants your project needs. We'll work in tandem with all our referred trades to ensure all the moving parts of the project are synced, and/or are happy to work collaboratively with any consultants you've already selected.

We now offer virtual services, and therefore can service anywhere in the entire world. Our primary service areas are Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Connecticut, New York, Maine, and Vermont.

Yes! We love all projects, regardless of size. Seeing the client happy at the end of a project and hearing that we helped them is honestly why we do what we do.
